OC- Mellow the Faun

If there's one point where western artists excel over eastern ones is creating pinups; the kind that doesn't just disappear after the series or movie ends and gets instantly replaced by another, the kind that ends up as classic, timeless characters (ask Jessica Rabbit or Betty Boop). You know is true so don't complain about it japanese do draw pinups, but they are very temporal, just as idols.

Now, if there's something i like about drawing is being capable of mixing elements from all sort of styles and at the end adding a little bit of personal spice (specially when it comes to animals or fantasy creatures) So here is it, a faun. Inspired a little bit by Animaniacs, Spyro the Dragon, Sonic the Hedgehog and Starfox.

Btw people, does anybody know the difference between satyrs and fauns? coz i can't still figure it out :/

Si hay algo que los artistas de occidente saben hacer mejor que los de oriente es crear pinups; la clase que no desaparece luego luego después de que el éxito de la serie o película se acaba y son reemplazadas por otra. La clase que se convierte en personajes clásicos y sin tiempo de caducidad (pregúntenle a Jessica Rabbit o Betty Boop) Ustedes saben muy bien que es cierto, así que no repelen los japoneses si pueden dibujar pinups, pero son demasiado temporales al igual que sus idols.

Ahora, si hay algo que me gusta acerca de dibujar es la capacidad de tomar elementos de toda clase de estilos y mezclarlos, y luego añadirles un poco de toque personal (especialmente si son animales o seres fantásticos). Así que aquí tienen, una fauno inspirada por Animaniacs, Spyro the Dragon, Sonic the Hedgehog y Starfox.

Por cierto, alguién de aquí se sabe la diferencia entre un sátiro y un fauno? porque yo todavía no la comprendo bien :/
